  Bought tongue and groove from Billy Adams the owner, thought I'd try and do business with somebody local I knew would stand behind what they sold. Guess that was wrong, less than a month after being installed half of the wood shrunk enough the tongue is no longer in the groove. Billy blames US lumber, the installer, everyone besides themselves. US lumber blames the installer, says the wood they did moisture check on was 12% moisture, which was checked over 6 weeks from purchasing. I could take the scraps and put on fire and they would sizzle and water and sap run out of the wood. Pretty sure kiln dried lumber shouldn't have water run out of it, the representative from US lumber told me that was completely normal. It's a new house and you can see between the boards, and part of them are hanging 1/4"-1/2" from the truss they should touching, Billy, and Tami Ware(US Lumber rep) both said they couldn't see anything wrong with it. I wouldn't recommend buying any US lumber, Hancock lumber, or Cleveland wood preserve lumber, none of them will stand behind their product. I have pictures of the finished product, and would be glad to show anyone before you waste your money.
